This week seems like the week for strange errors. Luckily it is also the week for "easy" fixes.
When conducting a find in files (CTRL + SHIFT + F) in Visual Studio (for me this is VS 2008) the search completes in a second and returns with the results.
No files were found to look in.
Find was stopped in progress.
Google-ing for this errors shows that it has been around for as long as it has been confusing people. Franny's Abode gave a fix way back in Visual Studio 2003!!!
